  • Price differences?

Looking at the product list I compared prices and here are some examples.
    super degreaser 1 gallon
    U.S 11.2-euro
    U.K 26.3-euro
    Croatia 42.6-euro

    clay mild
    U.S 31$
    U.K 54$
    ......

How come so big differences? and most importantly can I make my order from you and what are the payment methods?
    Thank you

    Re: Price differences?

Don't forget that all goods are subject to import taxes, duties, local taxes, etc., therefore prices vary from country to country.

I don't think Meguiar's Direct ships internationally. You need to use one of retailers which does so (like AutoGeek). You still will be responsible for customs duties.

All that is well known, but to me it still looks like a big difference

All Meguiar's products are made in USA.

It's like Armani suit at Saks Fifth Avenue Department Store in New York while the same suit is 50% cheaper at Armani Boutique in Milan.

Off topic: I heard that your handball team is playing really well at European Championships.

Yes,they are quite good, entered the semi-finals and also our waterpolo team is good in Eindhoven.
          P.S
and the most I regret is that I don't have Meguiars classes in the circle of 1000km from me,maybe in Italy but I do not speak italian or in Austria but then again language is the problem
          or maybe not

            Re: Price differences?

We have the same issue over here with the price of Meguiars products.

When I have ordered from the US via Autogeek in the past, I haven't been aware of any import taxes, duties, local taxes etc.

Perhaps it's all included in AG's shipping price? Regardless, it still works out much cheaper for me to buy from AG in the US.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I also import all the car detailing goodies from US as the price difference is unbelievable.

              For example:

              NXT 2.0 wax cost $59 (yes, $59)
              UC $30
              APC (gallon) $45
              Ultimate Protectant $29

I too order a lot from US. No custom duties or other taxes on parcels worth less then $1000.

Keep in mind that Most of Euro Countries have a VAT (value added tax) Croatia is 20 some percent. Free medical care and other social benefits. No property tax. They have to get their money from somewhere. Like Mexico has a VAT at 22%. Went to Home Depot in Monterrey MX. and everything is at least 50 % higher.

I have second thoughts where to order, now I think it will be from U.S and to see when it comes what is the final price over here.
In Croatia vat is 23% and in Serbia is 18%.
I'm not sure if the price with all taxes and fees can go over 100 of the price in U.S
And some products are 3 times cheaper in U.S than in Cro.

No I have Not been in Italy. Germany,Austria Croatia. Although I speak Croatian I have not had any problems in Germany or Austria with English.many of them will speak English only if they have to. If you'r spending money no problem. Here is funny example; about 5 yrs ago I was in Croatia and was looking at some jewelry (Ring) and I asked the owner if he spoke English, he said no,very little. When I pointed at the ring I was interested in and asked how much,,all of the sudden he had no problems with English and said 350 BUCKS! Just had to share that,,LOL
