    Re: Corvette with 13k miles

I did see some minor scratches. Even tho I have not looked thoroughly. Trying to come up with game plan for spring. I have a porter cable da. But thinking by hand would be the least aggressive. Im going to start a new thread on this

      Re: Corvette with 13k miles

If you search on MOL, you may find many references to Corvette clear coat being "hard" and using a DA will be a blessing for you. Although each car may respond differently, so doing a test spot with the least aggressive method will point you in the right direction for pad and product. Be sure to visit the photos from Saturday classes for use of the all-round swirl killer Ultimate Compound. I'm sure after reviewing discussions, viewing photos and starting a test spot with the least aggressive method, you will find the combination that makes that yellow scream.

Im sure most of us will tell you get the car clean, they clay it and then start your test spot. Building on a good foundation is critical to the end result. Good luck and enjoy!
