I recently picked up a 2005 yamaha roadstar which is black and want to clean the paint up a little. Overall the paint is not bad, some swirl marks but nothing major, just doesnt have the pop that i want. I have the clay kit, scratch x 2.0, #7 car glaze and will be using probably nxt wax to get there, but I have one issue. As part of my "cleanup" of the bike I took all of the badges off as well as the sticker on the gas tank, all adhesive is removed but where the gas tank sticker was there is now a noticeable "lip" of what I assume is wax build up (the spot where the sticker was is lower than its surroundings). I assume its wax because I cant imagine a decal was "set" into the clear coat. Anyways, what is the best way to remove this "lip"? Thanks in advance for the input.
