I am new here and am woundering the difference in quality between two different types of waxes. One is the meguiars gold class wax which i own and really like. the other brand is call Griots garage best of show wax. Does any one know the difference inquality between the two? I am using meguiars on a regular basis and it is making my truck look brand new.

      Hi Jason,

I merged your two questions into the same post since they are the same question. Usually, if no one answers you question in a reasonable amount of time it means maybe no one with the answer or the input has read it yet, or no one has an answer or experience with the product you're using.

I have not used Griot's products, so I cannot comment on them. Perhaps someone that has will chime in, a lot of people don't get back onto the forum until the weekday as they spend time with their family on weekends, especially on Sunday's.

Also, instead of posting a question a second time, most people will reply to their own post with the word, bump, which will force your question back to the top of the Latest Forum Discussions list.

No problem, forums are a world unto themselves. Let your question go until Monday evening and by then, if any of our members have ever used the Griot's waxes, they hopefully will have replied.

Just to note, what's more important than your LSP, (Last Step Product, typically a car wax), is your prep work. Your end results are mostly determined by the prep work you do to prepare the finish for wax. This could be things like claying, using a paint cleaner or a polish to restore a smooth, defect-free finish with exceptional clarity and gloss.
