Do I use a microfiber bonnet or wool pad or is it just best to hand wipe the wax after application of the wax with a foam finishing pad? Or are you supposed to use a foam pad to buff?

Re: Buffing out the final Wax coat -DA or hand?
The best bet is to wipe off by hand using a quality microfiber towel. You're leaving behind such a thin layer of wax when everything is said and done, and it's easy to get overly aggressive using a bonnet wrapped over a pad on a DA, meaning you can easily remove more product than you should. And you don't gain anything from repeated "buffing" of the wax when removing it, other than again removing more than you want to remove. A simple wipe, followed by a second wipe with a fresh side of the towel, is all you really should need. If you're struggling to remove the wax then you've either applied it too heavy (a very common mistake) or you haven't let it dry properly. Or you're using an old school "heavy carnauba", but that's a bit rare these days.Michael Stoops
