billswin, good for you for tackling this project on your own after diagnosing the condition of the paint and asking questions before jumping in. On your buffer the lambswool pad shouldn't be a huge negative issue, but there are better ways to go about some of your steps. If you're using Ultimate Wax liquid we would recommend you apply to one panel at a time and then just wipe off with a microfiber towel, by hand. You don't need a machine to remove wax as, when properly applied, it wipes off with almost no effort. That's really going to be your best way to go. It's also very important that you apply the wax in a very thin coat. Most people tend to seriously over use wax, and that just leads to all sorts of potential issues - longer drying times, harder removal, and just a waste of product. Remember, too, that all the real correction you did was with the clay and polish, so the wax is really a very simple apply, let dry a bit, and wipe off. It should not be a labor intensive process at all.
