  • removing residue from stock spoiler

So, I removed my stock spoiler on my car and would like to run wingless for a while. I cant seem to get rid of the rings leftover. I tried soap+water first just thinking it will wash away from 14 years of grime. Then I used goo-gone, and it was still there. I tried to claybar it away to no avail. When I run my fingers over it, there's no difference in texture. I do not own an orbital polisher, and would like to try to get rid of this by hand if I can. Here are some pictures.

    When I first removed it

    What it currently looks like

I would just get a bottle of Ult. Compound and work it in some, and see what happens. Wont do much better..
