  • COMPARISON of TWO PRODUCTS

which is better to use as a quick spray detailer and what exactly are their differences?
    Products are:
    -Ultra Synthetic Spray Detailer M135
    -Last Touch Spray Detailer D155

    Re: COMPARISON of TWO PRODUCTS

I think that it's more of a preference.

M135 has a lot of polymers in the product and it's extremely hydrophobic. It's pretty much UQD repackaged in a gallon format. This product can't be use as a clay lube.
Last Touch can be diluted with water. It can also be used as clay lube and it's used in high volume detail shops or dealerships.

Both work fine as spray detailers.

      thanks for quick response.
have you tried both products? which is your preference?
my UQD is almost out since i'm using it on 4 cars. i'm planning to buy the gallon size of quick detailer. that's why i made this topic to help me choose which is which.
in my mind, i'm thinking m135 will be the best.

          I have and use both
I use more Last Touch due to the price point

Every couple days I will use M135
the majority of the time I am using Last Touch

            I have used both products.

            M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer.
            D155 Last Touch.

The M135 gallon size costs $32.99 MSRP and the D155 gallon size costs $19.99 MSRP. The last touch can be diluted 1:1 so the $19.99 can give you 2 gallons if you dilute it.

What will you be using this for and what results are you trying to achieve? Are you going to use this to dust the car or trying to achieve the best gloss and hydrophobic effects? If you're just trying to dust off the car and follow it up with UQW or something then Last Touch will be more than enough. UQW after last touch will give you the hydrophobic effect and polymer protection. It can also be used as clay lube. Last Touch will be the most economical solution for you. On the other hand, M135 can't be diluted and needs to be used straight. If you're trying to achieve the best gloss with some kind of polymers being left behind then M135 will be the best fit for you.

I myself don't use quick detailers to remove dust on the surface of the car. I'm too afraid to scratch the car. I use my last touch for claying purposes. There might be times where I would use it to remove bird poop or finger prints. I use M135 as a drying agent to make the paint pop. However, I haven't been using M135 for this purpose since UQW was introduced.

            Hope this helps.

              thanks for the infos guys.
hmm.. basically i will use the products for dust (but not thick dust). i will use it if i don't have time to wash the cars or for example i will use the car on the day and when i gt in to the garage the car i will use is covered with light dust and i dont have time to wash it on that day.
since i've tried UQD and it worked for me and it's equivalent is m135, i think m135 it is. but i think i'm hoing to buy both.

That's the best solution. But both and see what you like the best.

                      Re: COMPARISON of TWO PRODUCTS

Because of the hydrophobic properties of M135 and your climate in the Philippines, we'd be inclined to go with that over Last Touch for routine use.
