  • How long does the wax in Ultimate Wash and Wax last?

I usually wash with Gold Class and use UW paste (love the stuff!) but will need to extend protection during the cold winter so I am thinking of switching to Ultimate Wash and Wax to get at least a a little wax/sealant on the car. Any ideas of how long this will last?

It shouldn't last long... For me, it's just a little booster wax to help make the car look better after washing. If you want to lengthen the life of your UPW then just use UQW everytime after washing your car with UWW.

Probably until the next time you wash it, 7-12 days.

If you're thinking of moving to UW&W just to get some added protection for the winter, that's probably not the best move. It's more of a light booster that will keep the gloss to a high level during routine maintenance washes. If you have the opportunity to wash during the winter months and want a bit of added protection, apply a quick coat of Ultimate Quik Wax spray immediately following your wash and dry. The polymers in UQW are surprisingly durable, much more so than what you'll get from the wash.
