  • Too much stuff! what to do?

I mean, I just. have. too. much. stuff.

One day, I want to get 64oz of #21 and use it on my car. The next day, I'm thinking that I have to use up...

that bottle of A12 Cleaner Wax, the can of A12 Cleaner Wax, the bottle of #6 Cleaner Wax, the bottle of new Gold Class, the 2 bottles of NXT, the 2 bottles of #20 and the 2 bottles of #26, the 2 cans of #26, the can (and bottle) of the old Gold Class, the 2 bottles of MPPP, the can of #16, the 2 bottles of ColorX, the bottle of A22 Carnauba, the 2 bottles of NXT and the can of NXT...

NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER, NON-MEGUIAR'S WAXES...

before I buy another doggone jar or bottle of ANYTHING.

So, I now have this new 100% scratch and swirl free car that is 3 weeks old. I put a quick coat of NXT on it the first weekend I had it. Now, I can

    1) use it to try a little of this, a little of that, using whatever strikes me,

    or

    2) It's new. Use up all that cleaner wax. It's all you really need on a new finish anyhow.

    The poll is expired.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

    Tom,

The solution to your problem is really quite simple. All you need to do is to purchase some large cars, like anything from the 1950's or 1960's. Polish them up real good and then leave them parked outside. If necessary, find a way to accelerate the deterioration process. Once a month, wash, clay, clean, polish and apply at least two coats of wax, three if you're having fun. In no time at all you'll need to restock your supplies!

I voted stop fretting since it was close to what I was thinking. I'm more of the opinion of keeping all your stuff just to have a nice collection. Or you could sell off the products you have doubles off. Another option is to sell off the consumer line stuff all together. So many options here. I'm sort of in the same boat.

      Good luck.
