    - the black painted on the rims wouldn't be affected?

    * you can see the rims on the pics. same questions goes to our other cars mentioned on my previous
    post.
I would use UQW on your wheels as it has more leave behind
Typically when I was my wheels I do my final dry by spraying the wheels downs and wiping them down with Synthetic spray wax which is UQW in a gallon form

so i dont need the UQD for the rims?
i usually clean the rims just by water and wipe off with wet micro towel then followed by dry micro towel. works well.
i just want to add extra cleaning and shine for the rims.

      - so the synthetic spray wax in a gallon is the big size of UQW? all their components are the same?

Re: Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax

It is only going to be of minimal gain on the wheels
That is at least my opinion on spray detailers/waxes for wheels

currently I keep a coat of this on my wheels
WheelWax is a blend of high temperature polymers designed to protect wheels from dirt, road grime, brake dust, and winter road chemicals. WheelWax also assists in repelling brake dust.

Synthetic Xpress Spray Wax=D156=$26 per 128oz
Meguiars Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax is formulated utilizing unique Hydrophobic Polymer Technology to produce a durable deep rich gloss with easy application and instant wipe off.

        UQW=$10 per 16oz

        16ozx8=128oz
        8x$10=$80

Yes it is the same product
I have been told that the scents are a little different but both are fine

This product is intended for a different market that demands a different price point
You are not going to find Joe Consumer using D156

o ya, you might not know this but M135=UQD

once you get into the gallon lines, you will corrupt yourself
I know this is true of me
I have not really messed with "consumer" products and I only do my own car

I am not sure on shipping and availability in the Philippines, so your mileage may vary...

          ok thanks!
last question, my rims on accord is machined face. the wax wouldn't affect the machined surface right? or maybe i should only apply the UQW on the black lip and the sides of the spokes (also in black color) to enhance it's dark color and shine? what you think?
no problem with the shipping here at phil because we have the direct dealer of meguiars. but not as complete as on the main site of meguiar's. you can check it at www.meguiars.ph usually i call them and the following day it will be delivered to right away.

Re: Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax

Why not just apply it to the whole surface?
            both painted and machined

I would just apply it to the entire surface
all it is a spray wax

blow the wheel off with compressed air
            mist wheel with UQW/D156
            dry completely

i just thought it might affect the machined surface. but since you said it's ok for the whole rims i would try it later.

just wondering why can't i use UQD first before using UQW on rims? or it can be done?

sure you can do that but to what gain?
It can be and it wont harm anything

Uhmm.. on UQD applying to rims just want to get rid dirt and dust (for quick cleaning) then followed by UQW.

but i think i don't need UQD for my rims if i have time to totally wash it. just the UQW.

Also to point out, you don't have to follow UQD with UQW every single time. When you're just removing the light dust, you can use UQD only. I just didn't want you to think you have to use UQW every day.

M135 is available, but at an exorbitant price - around 90 dollars, converted - while D156 is not available at all, which is a shame, as I love UQW. With the way the local distributor of Meguiar's marks up the price, though, you can get a gallon of both from the US and have them shipped via sea, and still have change leftover from that 90 dollars.
