    Re: Ultimate Polish question

When did you buy the truck? When's the production date? Do you have swirls in your paint? If your paint doesn't have much defects then maybe it's ok to skip it. However, you have black paint so I'm sure it can benefit from an application of UP. Why not try it on a small section (test spot) and see if you see any difference. If you do then you should use it on the entire car. This product has a lot of polishing oils in it so it should amplify the gloss and reflectivity even by a little bit.

Whether you decide to apply UP or not, I would at least apply NXT 2.0 or any traditional wax for winter protection. UQW won't be as durable as a traditional wax especially during the harsh environment of winter.

    Hope this helps.

    Ultimate Polish question

i have a new black silverado
iv recently did a clay and ultimate quick wax job on it
the paint is pretty much flawless
i was wondering if it do any good to apply ultimate polish and then tech 2.0 wax before winter sets in

would it do any good to apply it to a paint job that is so new, and in such good shape?

any tips or advice are gladly accepted, as this is my 1st black car or truck
and im trying to keep it in the best condition possible
