Car near Coast

Hi
I have a '03 white civic and I live and work near the coast, I'm planning to do the 5 step paint care cycle so, does it matter what products (Meguiars of course) I use?, for example:for washing the gold class shampoo and for waxing the NXT wax,...and how often do I need to do this or what to do for maintenance after this?

Living near the coast shouldnt change your process or product selection at all, unless the local climate was especially hot/cold or humid. One thing i would reccomend would be clay, its a great step to remove bonded on salt on paintwork that could be an issue near the ocean.
