  • Need Help..Started raining while waxing

So yesterday I washed my car and dryed it off completely. I then started to apply wax to my car and then went inside the house for 40 minutes for the wax to haze. I then came outside to wipe the car wax off and it started to drizzle outside. I quickly started to wipe the wax off the whole car, and it started to down pour. What would be okay to wipe off the wax spots I missed since I was in a hurry while it was raining? or would wash my car again and re-apply the wax?

I am just really pissed that all my hard work went down the drain.

    Thanks

    Its not that bad.

You probably want to at least use a quick detailer while wiping, since you might have some dust/dirt on it now.

If the weather looks good, you could certainly apply a second coat of wax if you wanted to after QDing.

Yes I would wipe offf the missed wax spots as long as theres no dirt or dust on it.

Just keep an eye on the beading when you wash it again. If the water still beads up or sheets off your fine. You probably dont need to wax again at least for a while unless the it rained so hard it liquified the wax and came off.

Do not fret! The rain probably didnt hurt anything!
