Wood Grain trim

I have genuine wood grain trim in my Mercedes. The trim is in excellent condition. It looks as if it is finished with a high gloss polyurethance finish. It tends to get fingerprints on it and smears from products such as leather conditioner that I apply.

What is the best product to wipe it down and protect it?

I have used PlastX in other parts of the car and I am a fan. Would it be suitable for the wood grain trim?

If it's just smudges and fingerprints you are trying to remove you should give the interior quik detailer a try.

I would second Travis suggestion, give Meguiar's new NEW Quik Interior Detailer



After cleaning, (if you like), you can apply a thin coat of wax if it is in fact a high gloss polyurethane finish.
