    This is the only rim on the car that has this.It is on the ring that goes around the American Racing circle.

      Some metal polish should clear that up, looks like a little surface rust. After you polish, you should seal it with NXT.

        It's not rusting. It's peeling. I was wondering what would cause that.

            I just emailed the company to see what is the best way to get a new one. We bought them at Sears.

                Actually they said it can be replaced through a local American Racing dealer. So I guess I have to pay for a new one. Which is ok.
