  • Ultimate Liquid Wax application on hot surfaces

    Hello!
^ days ago, i used the ultimate liquid wax on my Nissan Altima. First, i washed and clayed my car. Then drove the car because i have to bring my fiancee at her work. Then went home to to do a final step which is waxing. Now, my question is i wax my car while the hood is still very warm because of the engine running earlier when i drove. Is it ok to apply ultimate liquid wax on hot surfaces? thanks

Once you drive the car into the elements ie traffic, I would rewash the car (when cooled) before applying the wax.

A warm surface is OK, but a dirty one is not. As grip said, even a short drive will definitely add dust to the car - and at the very least require a wipe-down before waxing.

Washing and drying only takes about 1/2 - 1 hour and you don't want to seal the airborne contaminants with the wax.

          just quick detail the car
as long as you didnt drive through a coal mine or mud puddles it should be fine

The car is also white correct
You should be fine with just some quick detailer and a clean microfiber then wax

Does a quick detailer clean the car well enough for a quick wax? That is, if the car just has some road dust and pollen on it? Which products can be used on a warm car? Thanks!

Yes, I'd say so...and both can be used in the sun.

If it was a relatively short trip you should be fine with quick detailer. Just go slowly and gently an d use plenty of microfiber towels.
