As stated above, BUT, you should not require anything that abrasive after recently painting. If you do, something is wrong with your drying or washing process.
On another note, I beleive products like #7 show car glaze can be applied in the curing period, with no ill effect.

haha...Good opinion... but the problem here, in Indonesia, after the car repainted, the painter will try to make your car look better and remove some orange peels by his rotary buffer and some product that i never even heard before..it's part of their service...
but the problem is, they can't even tell the different between wax and compound... they can't really use rotary buffer, and they even wax the fresh paint... so the result is that when i come to take my car, guest what, thousand swirls mark, some of their wax sill remain on the paint, and they even spray my aluminum wheel with clear coat accidentally...
so today i have to use #7 to strip the wax, use the thinner to clean my wheel from clear coat, and can't do anything yet to the swirls...
note that I already told them not to do anything to my car after the car get repainted, but i guess they forgot >.<
I think you can use UC or SwirlX right away. You just can't use any waxes or sealants during the curing process but compounds and polishes are ok I think.
How do painters remove their sanding marks on fresh paint? They use a compound such as M105 right? If this is the case then I'm sure UC / SwirlX should be ok as well. But I'm not 100% sure.

I guess you are correct! I know they use sand paper (wet sand) and rotary with compound so there should be no reason for him not to use any Megs product.

yes, that's if i use 105,but I use UC that is user friendly product that's not too friendly with fresh paint CMIIW ?
my 105 is depleted
Hi PhantomMagician. In a warm climate like Jakarta, 2 months should be enough for the paint fumes to fully escape. Only apply abrasive compounds after this 2-month period. HTH
