Saw this topic mentioned in other forum and I thought of checking it out over here wehther if there is any product in the Meguiar's range that has similar result as the AIO. I am thinking of applying a layer of sealant similar as AIO before applying #16. Thanks.

AIO is a cleaner/wax, that is it cleans the finish and leaves behind a protective layer on the finish.
From the Meguiar's line, you have a number of excellent choices for cleaner/waxes, this includes,
Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax
ColorX
Meguiar's cleaner waxes, clean, polish and protect the finish and create superior results compared to the competition. There are also a number of excellent cleaner/waxes in our Professional Line.

Hi Mike
Nice to hear from you again. Before I saw the topic in the other forum, I intend to use #80 before #16. So which one would you recommand #80, cleaner wax, colorX or any other product ? Using #16 already make my car wet looking but I hope to create a even wetter and glossy look on my car.

You know what, I was about to ask you should I use the NXT wax instead and you actually read my mind. But I like to know should I use the paste or the liquid type ? Which type is easier to wipe off when the wax hazz ? And will the result be even better if I top NXT with #16 12 hours later ?

ColorX + 2 coats of NXT + #16 is what I use. AIO is a fabulous product but I find myself using ColorX more. It's a lot cheaper and works just as good to put NXT on top. Two coats of NXT is a noticeable improvement to just one. Topping it with #16 won't hurt either.

Hey Mike or Tim,
May I know if ColorX contains an abrasive or is it sort of chemical cleaner like AIO?
I want to know since I would want to find an alternative base for some third-party sealants.
Does it also have the ability to fill minor swirls or it uses abrasives to eliminate them?
I like how ColorX restores original shine over badly oxidized paints.
TIA!
EDIT/FOLLOW-UP:
Also what is the proline version of ColorX?I wash and wash my car until the whole thing disappeared!

We're glad you like it!
Type in ColorX, or M66 Quick detailer into the search button and you should pull up some threads that discuss these products.

Thanks Mike.
Here's the link for the answer regarding ColorX having abrasives and chemical cleaners:
I used this on my wifemobile, a 2001 Chev Impala LS in mahogany metallic red. My intent was to do an "enlightened" Joe Average job on the car, which was last waxed in... November (shudder), with MPPC/MPPP. I washed with #00, 2 buckets, and sheepskin mitts with the cuffs cut off. All the MPP* was gone, as
Look at Mike's post. (7th from top)I wash and wash my car until the whole thing disappeared!

i've have/used the cleaner wax, and it seems like the colorx would do a better job in reviving/keeping the finish in great condition?
