Black Molding Strip Car Door Edge

I'm looking for door molding protectorate strips for my car doors.
I don't want the kind that is basically U shaped and goes on both of the sides of the edges.

I want the one sided strips that only will lay on the outside of the door edge. It's less than a 1/4 " wide.

The U shaped strips will impede the closing of the doors.

I have a piece in my wallet and this is made by 3M...I can't find it on the 3M website.

Take a couple of pictures of the piece you have next to a clearly marked ruler, tape measure, pencil, coins or other familiar object so we can get a sense of its dimensions.

I have dealt with the "U" shaped strips before without problems. They should not affect the door closing in any way.

Agreed, the "U" is only about 1/10" thick at the biggest point (at least that's what mine measure).
