  • strength of #66 ?

I'm new to the use of the product, what is the approximate
durability of this wax ? (month? 2 months?)
I know the answer really depends on alot of factors, such as
    weather,car being garaged,etc...
I am starting my own business (express details) and I would
like to use #66 (if I can dodge the sun) also if a customer asks
the durability of it I could at least give them a rough idea.

any guestamates would be helpfull thanx.

You can probably expect about 4 weeks out of #66, it isn't the greatest protecting wax, but it does offer a decent amount considering the fact that you are able to remove light to moderate swirls with it as well.

With #66 I find that to get the full effect from it you need to be using it on the rotary. That said as a one step product it's some pretty good stuff so long as you apply it right. The durability isn't nearly as great as the synthetic waxes available. For my own personal use I go back over it with NXT for more durability.

          Hey,

Meguiar's #66 Quick Detailer is an excellent product! But as the others have mentioned, I too have had the greatest success with it when using a rotary buffer, and a W-8006 Polishing Pad.

However, I also use it with the PC. Here is a link to a detail I did on my RV using the #66 and the PC. I will see if I can dig up some car photos where I utilized #66.

          Cheers!
