How to achieve the best results?

Hi everybody!
Well I had tried a lot ofwaxes/polishes etc. until I learned about Meguiar's products. Aftervisiting Meguiar's website I got realy confused. So many products tochoose from.
I decided to get:

1. 1. Deep Crystal Polish
   2. Ultimate Compund
   3. Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
   4. Meguiar's Quik Clay Starter Kit
   5. Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax

In what order should I use theseproducts? Does Meguiare have better wax and polish products thatmight do a better job?

I would encourage you to take advantage of Meguiar's newest products - Ultimate Line.

Ultimate Compound - paint cleaner,
Ultimate Polish - cleaner/ polish,
Ultimate Wax (liquid or paste) - longest lasting protection/ synthetic wax,
Ultimate Protectant/ Ultimate Black - great for interior/ exterior plastic, vinyl and rubber.

You'll want to do:

1. Wash - Gold Class Soap, etc. 2 buckets, quality towels, mitts.
2. Clay - Clay kit
3. Clean - You would want to use Ult. Compound if you have defects to remove. DC Cleaner would be for just removing dirt from the surface. Or as mentioned above, Ult. Polish would combine a mild cleaner with a polish.
4. Polish - Optional, but this is were DC Polish would go.
5. Wax - Then wax with the DC Wax, or other favorite.
6. Wax - Two thin coats are best.

7. Maintain - Ult. Quick Wax is great for after future washes.

Thanks a lot! Is there really considerable difference between "Ultimate" and non-"Ultimate" products?

I know the difference in the waxes:
Deep Crystal is carnauba, can stain the trim, and should be applied in the shade; While the Ultimate is synthetic, lasts longer, won't stain trim, can be applied in the sun.

Well, just different products...

The Ult. Compound is the strongest of the Consumer Line paint cleaners.

The Ult. Polish more or less combines the DC Cleaner and DC Polish.

The Ult. Wax is supposed to be a bit more durable than the Nxt 2.0, which will be more durable than the carnuba waxes.

But then some people prefer to do the individual steps, and many prefer the looks of the carnuba waxes. And the Ult. Waxes apply a bit different from the other Meguiars waxes. So yeah, they are good, just different, and a matter of what you like best.
