  • Dry Weather & Single-Stage Coat - What is The Best Polisher??

    Hey All

    I need advice on this situation. Brasilia, Brazil has a very dry climate. About 10 to 15% relative humidity.

    I have a Ferrari 308 to do and it's single-stage red paint is very sensitive. So the question is:

    On the Megs line, what would be the best polisher for this situation?

    I trust you are asking about the material rather than the tool. If so, SS paint seems to prefer the traditional oil-rich products. M80 is a good choice for light defect removal and a great pre-wax polish for SS paint. You may want to take the time to read this article on SS paint restoration:

      For single stage paints:

      Cleaner/ Polish: M83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish, M80 Speed Glaze;
      Pure Polish: M07 Show Car Glaze.

      M83 will offer more correction ability, if needed, over M80. M07 can be used after either product, if needed.
