    Color is a 24 year old medium blue-gray. Never compared, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    But if I had to make up a reason why I see a difference: Since products are made to only stick to paint they don't layer. But, since paint is like a dry river bed, some of the crevices are not filled by the UQW leaving room for some carnuba to bond to. Hence, a visual effect that appears to soften the sheen. But that just might be the voices in my head.
