Re: Old FireTruck
Read this article. It will tell you most everything you need to know about restoring single-stage paint.

Re: Old FireTruck
You would need to upload the pics to your gallery here, and then insert the links. Would be great to see them all.
#80 is a mild cleaner/polish for SS paints, #83 is a bit stronger for SS paints. Esp if been inside, the #80 may be all it needs. If working by hand, I might go with UC for a stronger cleaner, and then #80.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Old FireTruck
Looks like fun.
Might want some UC as well while out buying things, just in case. Might be a bit stronger by hand, esp for that last one. Also, may be a good idea to apply your first coat with terry cloth, to get some extra bite.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Old FireTruck
To be quite honest, you might want to UC, then clay, then #80.
You could walk out anytime, and do a test spot to get an idea.
If it became an issue, UC then a pure polish (only oils) like DC Polish or #7 could be used.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
