I purchased a new car that sat on the dealers lot for 11 months. I washed and clayed the car and found no visible paint surface problems. I want to clean the paint to remove any dealer applications of anything before LSP but can't find the Paint Cleaner locally. One retailer said it was discontinued. I also remember reading that UC was the Crystal cleaner replacement but I do not need anything that strong. Will UP clean the paint before UW? Thanks.

Re: Is UC the replacement Deep Crystal cleaner?
Yes, discontinued.
Ultimate Polish would be the most similar, but the Ult. Polish will also have a lot of the polishing oils DC Polish would have.
SwirlX would also be ok for regular use.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Is UC the replacement Deep Crystal cleaner?
Yes, Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner has been discontinued. It was replaced with a pair of products, really - SwirlX for fine swirls and Ultimate Compound for more severe defects. Ultimate Polish was introduced a year or so later and is even more mild than either of these two, plus it contains more polishing oils so it should further help with gloss enhancement.Michael Stoops
