    wax off...anybody here use a large moon orbital to remove wax,polishes etc?

          Something with that big of a pad would be all but useless on my car, given all the different curves and whatnot. Also, it's a lot easier for me to simply flip over to a fresh side of my MF towel as it gets loaded up with residue than to constantly change bonnets.

            OK. Most detailers think the large "orbital" buffers are useless. IMO not so. I used one for many years before I bought a Porter Cable dual action polisher. I used it to both apply and remove waxes and polishes. For large areas they are a heck of a lot easier than hand power. Still, the good old Porter Cable (pc) is the way to go if you are buying a polisher.
