Either one as they are basically the same thing... But my question is should you apply these as a preventative measure to keep the black plastic on your car from fading such as the mirror body's and trim pieces that are just black plastic?

Also is M40 the same thing? I know it says M40 is a Vinyl/rubber product but would the trim pieces such as that count as a vinyl? Just wondering. I use M40 for my tires...Comment

Yeah, M40 is also good.
