  • Does clay leave me unprotected?

Does claying your car leave you unprotected? I just wanted to know if I could drive my car around for say a week before I applied my LSP. I only have to this because there isn't anytime to properly apply wax.

Yes. At some level, claying removes whatever is sitting on top of your car's finish including wax.

I waxed my car with nxt tech wax about a month ago and the car has been garaged most of the time. If I apply a layer of nxt booster wax, would I be ok to drive it for a week?

Sure. It's important to apply a coat or two of a normal coat of wax when times allows you to however.
