Are we talking foam pads for a D/A or the little, soft, hockey-puck ones for just spreading wax around? If the former, it amazes me that most of the typical brick and mortar auto stores don't sell the 5.5"-6.5" foam pads. But then again, maybe not so much of a surprise when you consider what market segment they target: the average guy/gal who wants to slap on a coat of Turtle Wax and call it a day. When you walk into one of these places and ask for DA foam pads, not one clerk in the store knows what the hell you're talking about. I suppose thay have a limited amount of shelf space, and sales of foam pads isn't enough for them to stock. Then, if you go to an auto-body supply store, they have pads for rotaries, but not DAs, or if they do have them, you pay thru the nose. All in all, I guess we're better off ordering them online.
