Hey guys,
I bought the amazing d/a microfiber correction kit and have used it on a couple cars so far. It produces great results, but either I'm doing something very wrong, or I have a faulty cutting pad.
After only a couple of cars, one of the pads did this:

I have been using the red pads on my G100V2 with a speed setting of 4 to apply the pink compound in Step 1 of the process. I always make sure they are centered nicely, and I only do 24x24" sections at a time. I always stop to use air and re-fluff the fibers and add a little bit more compound. I never pull the pad off by the fibers or the foam in between. I always lift up on the backing itself and peel from there.
It seems very strange that it would fail this soon. What could I have done?
