which pads??

okay i just bought is this 7'' SIX SPEED BUFFER/SANDER/POLISHER is this okay??? now for the pads. what should i get for putting on and taking off polish and wax? my white vette is pretty much has perfect paint. my jeep has some swirl scratches i bought the #80 speed glaze what pads do i need for this??

I take it this is a rotary. You probably want the 5" backing plate and a couple W-8006 pads the pad kit is a good start. You may want to locate a test panel, especially if this is your first experience with a rotary.

I would highly recommend find a car or a hood off a car to practice on before working on anything that is important to you. By this I mean, find something you can practice on that it won't matter if you make a mistake.

As far as pads go, I would recommend purchasing our W64 Rotary Buffer Backing Plate, (the small one), and our Set of 3 pads - WDAV99-B. The smaller pads are easier to control and easier to learn with.



If your goal is a flawless finish, then sooner or later you should consider purchasing a G100 Dual Action Polisher as it's pretty hard to beat the swirl free results the oscillating action of this tool produces.
