  • Exterior Plastic/Rubber Protectant

I was just wondering what would be the best product to use on my black plastic trim and rubber on the exterior of my car? I just ordered some NXT Tech Protect, but it says it's for the cars interior. Would it work on the exterior as well?
    Thanks

I use the NXT Protectant on my bed cover.... like the look but I am not sure that it lasts in a rain sometimes I think it collects dust.

I will say this.... I like it on the inside not to shiny and not to dull.

As for exterior trim I like to use a dressing over NXT something like #38 or Gold Class trim detailer. Just my personal preferance, really like the look of them and seem to last. I have found you need to wipe the excess off or rain will make it run.

      Hey,

For exterior surfaces, I agree, I use #38 or Meguiar's All Season Dressing. Apply it liberally, allow it to sit for several minutes then wipe off with a dedicated towel.

      All Season Dressing

      Cheers!
