  • Anyone heard of Hi Temp Inc. Detailing Products?

One of my parent's friend's gave me a PC 7274XP that they weren't using, along with some lake country pads, and a bottle of HT-300 Medium Power Cut Leveler:

    HT-300 Medium Power Cut Leveler
A solvent-based leveler that removes medium
    scratches, oxidation, and paint defects,
    restoring paints to their original
    high-gloss appearance.

I hadn't ever heard of it, and didn't find much doing some googling. Has anyone used this before? What Meguiars product would this be the most similar to, and is it safe for a complete DA beginner to use?

    Thanks,
    Alex

    A free PC? Scoooooorrrrrrrre!

Hi Temp has a good reputation for making quality products aimed at the commercial detailing market.

I haven't tried any of their cutting products so I have no idea how they compare to Meg's. The name "Power Cut Leveler" might be a clue as to the aggressiveness. As their customer base tends to be rotary-centric, I would guess their products tend to be optimized for rotary use as well.

Lake Country makes a lot of pads. Be sure sure you know which ones you have and what they're meant for before you touch your paint.

    pc.
