    are they destined to be used with a dual action polisher over a rotary in the future?

    I wouldnt phrase it quite like that...

    But new technology is allowing people to get results using a DA that used to only come from a rotary. And since a DA is safer in general, the more that can be done with it, the better.

    So I am sure you will see DA use included in as many products as possible. Most of Meguiars products are hand/DA or DA/rotary.

      We're inclined to agree with Mat on this. In body shop environments you're going to see the rotary as the dominant tool for quite some time. When removing sanding marks there's no faster or more efficient process in the vast majority of cases. But for enthusiast detailers, there's no doubt we're able to do things with a DA today that we could not do (or at least could not do easily or repeatedly) just a couple of years ago.
