I'd have to go with the wash, probably the best OTC wash available.
Edit: Didn't see the second part of the question. It provides excellent sudsing and lubrication, and leaves a smooth and glossy finish after washing. You can't beat the price or smell either.

I've been most pleased with the NXT protectant. Before this product was available, most other protectants left an artifical looking, sticky residue that wore off very quickly. The new NXT protectant leaves a perfect sheen (in my opinion) with no sticky feeling. It seems to last quite long too. Previous protectants would wear off of my arm rest after the first time I drove my car and rested my arm on the door. Now, after weeks of driving time, the NXT protectant appears to still be holding up well. I can't see any area where the protectant has worn off.

I have to go with the NXT wash. The smell is great and the finish it leaves is awesome. I also like the NXT Tech Wax as well, because of its ease of use. I must say that the Insane Tire shine is good, but its durability is questionable... I like the Hot Rod Tire shine better for its durability, less shine but lasts a great deal longer than the Insane Tire shine.
The liquid wax is probably my favorite, but the metal polish is definately a close second. I wouldn't want to be driving behind me on a sunny day because of the shine I get off that stainless steel.
The NXT protectant is my favourite NXT product for the same reasons that Mike_SVT stated: It is completely non-greasy, a first for protectants even though they all say that they're non-greasy. I also love the wax, though it does take longer to set than ColorX.
The NXT Tech Wax will always be a favorite of mine but next on my list is the NXT Speed Detailer and NXT Glass Cleaner. These two products work very well, streak free, every time using a MF.
I only have two NXT products so far, and being in Canada is partly why. Not everything is available up here yet.
Anyway the two I'd tried: NXT Tech Wax (Liquid)
NXT Tech Wash car wash soap
I really love both. But in terms of their respective categories, I rank the car wash higher than the wax. The NXT wash is darn near my favorite car wash, even better than P21S car shampoo, in my limited experience.
The NXT Tech Wax is great too, but I have many other fine products to choose from in the wax/sealant department. I haven't exactly established an all-time favorite yet but NXT has some stiff competition on my shelf, even among some older Meguiar's products.
