  • Order of applying polishes/compound.

    Say I see a scratch and I use UP because I want to use the least abrasives as possible and it does not remove the scratch. I bring out UC and it removes it. Now I should reapply UP again, correct?

    It depends... If UC hazes the paint or it makes it slightly cloudy and you want to further refine the gloss then you apply UP afterwards. If you're satisfied with how the paint and reflections look after UC then you can stop and apply your favorite wax.

        I like the look of sealants more than carnauba waxes. For me, the best Meguiar's wax is NXT 2.0 and Ultimate Wax. I prefer Ultimate Wax on darker colored vehicles and NXT 2.0 on lighter colored vehicles.
