Hi, I am Khaled Osama and i own a detailing business in Egypt called Top Care Detailing. I am new to the forum but i have been reading the Megs forums from 3 years when i started detailing. I'm a huge fan of Meguiar's and the forum, i learnt so much from this forum. people around here are really nice and helpful.
Ok, so here is the deal. I was working on a 2007 Honda City with some minor chipping on the hood. While i was workinng on the hood, i was compounding using Megs Diamon Cut 2.0 and Megs Cutting pad i noticed that chips started to appear, then switched to Swirl-free polish and polishing pad and chips started to appear again.
Some chips get wider and/or deeper and more obvious than before. The same goes for the front bumber but not the rest of the car. i have been experiencing this problem for a while now on 20% on the daily driven cars.i started to notice these problems on dark colors especially black cars.
Does anyone have an explanation?
Thanks.
