  • Ultimate Protectant and old plastic

After using the Ultimate Protectant to improve the interior of my 6 year old car, neglected for last 2 years, I tried to improve on the rubber around the windshield. The rubber was white and what happened, it could turn it black. I had to use a lot of it, but I can be black again.

Now the i have to deal with the paint, clay, Ultimate ompunt, ultimate polish and NXT2. Doing it by hand

It gonna be as a new car thanks to Meguiars.

Did you wipe down that rubber with alcohol or window cleaner first? Huge difference when i do that first.

The Ultimate Protectant just seems to streak a lot less for me when I clean first, and last longer.

You also have to treat plastic trim a couple times before it looks great....especially if it's old and neglected.
I had a black rear bumper protector on my 2003 MPV van....never treated it or protected til last week, now it looks new!
