  • water stain on lips

hi, i'm new here. Right now, i'm frustrated with all my rims covered with hard water stains. These were bought recently.
The rims are Racing Hart.i don't know what they are made of.
I tried Mother's Mag & polish, Meguiar's hot rim cleaner (purple), and soap and water. None of them worked. i can't just use any product out there since they might mess up the clear coat (if it has).
How do i get rid of them for sure?
If anyone lives near irvine ca area, i can bring the car in.

Try using Meguires hard water stain remover, it's generally used for boats but should work here also.
You may also want to try just plain water & vinegar

Before you do ANYTHING else to these wheels you absolutely need to figure out what type of surface you are working on. Try some Google searching - you may even have to contact the manufacturer.

As for getting help, Meguiar's has open clinics on Thursday nights at its headquarters in Irvine. Your best bet would be to stop by one of those. Read about them HERE.

I actually tried out m105 at the TNOG with mike. never tried the water spot remover though. I was told something m105 is the most aggressive product they have. mike can chime in if he sees this thread

            Re: water stain on lips

i bought m105 today and tried it out.
The water stain goes away after like 4 times of hard rubbing. Some spots won't go away though.
The spots turned purple and blue slightly. Is this because the clear coat is removed?
