Does anyone know about Meguiar's Saturday trainings?

I live in Huntington Beach, CA and heard there is a training in Irvine to teach people how to use their products and techniques of high speed buffing, color sanding and other more technical things... Is this still going on? Is it still free? How do I register for that??

You have to attend a basics class, then you can do one of the advanced classes also.

Our basic training class essentially covers the 5 Step Paint Care Cycle in depth. We then move to the garage where we show you how to remove defects by hand and with a DA buffer, then we let you try the buffer for yourself and help you get a feel for proper technique with it.

In our Advanced Class we spend a bit less time in class and more in the garage, where you get a chance to sand with a pneumatic DA and then compound out the sanding marks with a rotary buffer, and refine the finish with that same tool. You must have taken the basic class before taking the advanced class.

As always, our classes are free of charge, and we provide coffee and donuts in the morning and pizza at lunch.

I highly recommend the classes. If you have time on a Thursday, they also have Thursday night open garage. You can try the products and get help correcting places you have issues with.

Geez I wish I could go to one of these classes. But, I'm on the wrong side of the continent.
