I have seen some posts where people will initially wash the car then go into correcting it with UC or Scratch X then wash the car gain for a second time. Is this a step I'm missing or is just preference. Thanks!
Sometimes if doing a lot of work, the car can get a bit dusty from dried product, etc. If its real bad, sometimes a wash is just quicker to get rid of it all.
Yeah, I wouldn't do it personally. If you're using an electric polisher, once you apply the polish and wax it will also create some dust. Certainly not as bad as the compound, but still there, so I see it as a waste of time. But it really all just depends on your preference!
