i will be purchasing chrome rims for my car and i was wondering how to protect them during the winter so they dont pit, i always like to keep my car clean and fresh wax on it, i will also wax my chrome wheels with megs UW, i also have rinseless car wash, will that be enough to stop the rims from pitting, i will also if i have to wipe down the rims with a UQD if it to cold even to use the rinseless wash.

You can try all of that, wash them every day, etc. etc, and depending on the severity and salt use in the winter, you still might get pit damage. I have solved that...I take mine off and store for the winter. -
