  • Water Magnet

Ive been to both my local autozone and advanced auto parts and neither of them carried Meguiars Water Magnets waffle weave towels. I thought I remember seeing them a year or so ago. I talked to one of the workers and he said that he didn't know why they don't have them anymore. Where else could I find them locally?

Meguiars water magnets are difficult to find OTC. Best prices are still online at autodetailingsolutions.net or detailing.com. But you can find off-brand water magnets at Pep Boys, Autozone, O'Reilly, and other retail auto parts stores.

yeah online prices are really good but put in shipping prices i was hoping to find it just OTC. And the only things my stores had were just large regular microfiber towels would this be a good alternative or is a waffle weave superior enough to justify getting one?

Where ya from? There's a Meg's distributor here in Denver where I get all my stuff, maybe there's one in your city.

Amazon also has good specials on them from time to time. They are about the cheapest I've found and many times you can get free shipping

Yeah, sometimes if Auto Detailing Solutions is out, definitely check Amazon. They usually have whatever you're looking for in stock.

Look at it this way. With the lower online price and shipping, you're paying per towel what you would pay for it retail OTC (if you could find them). But you're saving money via gasoline and time from not having to drive all over town in search of the elusive Megs WM!

Forget autozone. I go there in a pinch when I need something... Say like if I'm running low on QD. If you order from them, they'll most likely charge retail. Amazon! Love them. They have great prices. The Internet is your best bet. Oh yeah, mine as well buy two of them while you're at it. I do mine and my wife's car and 1 WM isn't enough.
