carpet has laundry detergent
my buddy spilled powder laundry detergent and i was wondering if any one had helpful tips. i was going to vac it up then extract the rest ..

I never had to deal with powdered detergent but I would imagine doing a vac followed by a dry brush, vac and see how much powder is removed, If necessary dry brush and vac again before you start extracting using water if that's what you really need to do (meaning if carpets are stained).Jesse

go to a car wash place and use their vacuum those are more powerful than the home vacuum.1984 buick grand national 1987 engine

I would dry vac it. After that, use a good carpet prespray that has low foaming charastics to it. Along with that, sprinkle some powder defoamer over the area. Then you can rinse it out with your uph tool like a PMF internal jet hooked up to your porty.
