You could also try the Plasti-dip method if you want a matte black look:

I've already painted my grills black, but no matter how much paint is on them, they always need to be touched up. I do ALOT of driving so I know this is the issue, but I know that I'm going to get tired of touching them up every week. Does plasti-dip hold up better to rocks and wear and tear better?
