  • 1st coat UW, 2nd coat: PlastX. Now what?

Have a small sample bottle of UW that I got with a Megs Kit.

It's the same size as my PlastX bottle. The next day, for the second coat, I grabbed the wrong bottle. I got the hood and the roof done when I noticed my mistake.

It's been on the car for about 3 days....in the sun.

Want to do the minimum to fix it correctly.

Lot of options: cleaner wax? APC then start over?
    Haven't a clue.

Completely "bummed" Should be stripped of my "rep points"

You'll be put in the Human Cent-Ipad for not reading later...

    Cleaner/wax would be fine.

To be honest, dont even know if you need to worry, and could just wax over it.

      Thanks Murr

I am going to run with your hunch about ..." just wax over it." Or I will never know for sure.

PlastX is fairly mild stuff, but odds are it took most of that previous coat of wax off - and that's about it. You didn't do any damage, you just used a mild cleaner and took your first coat of wax off. People have done so much worse than this little mistake. If you want to get us excited (or chuckling about) an error, you're to have to try a whole lot harder.
