  • NXT Spray Wax after washing?

Did a search but didn't find an answer.

I have seen some other spray waxes on the market that can be applied to a still wet car after rinsing. Then toweled dry to apply a light coating of wax. A "base wax enhancer" if you will. My question is, does NXT Spray Wax work well this way too? Or, is there another Meguiars product that work work better using this technique?

    Thanks

As for me I use Meg's Ultimate Quick Wax, has Hydrophobic technology and last a good while.

I've used Nxt Spray Wax for years and can tell you it's not a wipe on wipe off product used on a wet car. You spray it on dry paint, spread it with a foam applicator, let dry and remove.

Too tell the truth, it's hardly quicker than using a liquid wax/sealant. The only reason I've been using it for years is to use up the 3 bottles I purchased when it was introduced

Dura Gloss Aqua Wax is designed specifically to be used on a wet car. Just spray is on with your left hand as you dry the car. Aqua Wax only increases your wash time by a few seconds as you apply it as you dry the car.

Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. I've used NXT spray for a few years too and just as you described above. I didn't want to risk making a big mess by trying it out on a wet car! I guess I'm lucky, I only have a 1/2 bottle left.

I sure like the idea of applying a light coat of wax while drying so I'm going look for something that will do that. Maybe the Dura Gloss or Griots spray wax.
