  • Washing your microfibers

What is the preferred method? I'm really just not sure. Been soaking anything with wax residue in a bucket with Dawn liquid soap before washing, seems to do ok, but I have no basis for comparison, so......

Oh, never wash your car care rags with your kitchen towels. Your woman will complain about them smelling like cat piss and you will never hear the end of it.

I normally give them a shower, soak them in dish wash soap and hot water (the hottest my hand can withstand) for 1 night, then throw all MF mitts, towels, waffle weave, foam applicators, foam pad into washing machine, 40*C, synthetics, with a detergent called Micro Restore. I think Micro Restore keeps the MF products soft for a longer time.
