Re: Heavy cut 4 with d/a ?
From the Auto Detailing Solutions' product instructions:
METHOD OF APPLICATION: For use with rotary buffer only. (Note: Be sure you are familiar with proper use of rotary buffer.)
DIRECTIONS: Shake well. Always apply in the shade on a cool surface. Do not apply to rubber or vinyl surfaces. Apply to one section at a time, using a Mirror Glaze buffing pad. Work product until nearly dry. Wipe of excess using a clean, dry, quality, 100% cotton terry cloth towel. Follow with an application of Mirror Glaze Swirl Remover (#9) to restore gloss. For tough, long lasting protection, follow with an application of Mirror Glaze Yellow Wax (#26).
Meguiar's Heavy Cut Cleaner removes deep swirls, scratches, severe oxidation, alkaline and acid rain etching. Diminishing Abrasives⢠cut quickly, then reduce to a polishing rouge, while Buffered Abrasive⢠action lubricates the finish to prevent scratching. Meguiar's Heavy Cut Cleaner is not recommended for hand application.
SunnyD, what are you trying to accomplish? On what car, what problem and what products and tools do you already have available?

Free is nice. Leaving it on the shelf costs you nothing. You won't hear it being used much. All part of that "use the least aggressive method" lecture that will be ringing in your ears if you hang around here much.
